Terms of Service

These Terms bind Scholant OS("Scholant OS") and your Institute (owners and authorised staff). By using https://app.scholantos.com you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Scholant OS is a multi-tenant cloud ERP: students, fees, attendance, exams, admissions, timetable, homework, announcements, parent portal with OTP login, institute branding, analytics, and optional WhatsApp and online fee payments—depending on your plan.

The Enterprise plan may include an optional AI assistantpowered by Google's generative AI services (when enabled by Scholant OS). It helps staff draft admissions enquiries, fee reminders, attendance messages, parent replies, import reviews, owner briefings, and similar operational text. AI outputs are suggestions only and must be reviewed by your staff before use.

A separate Custom offering (contact sales) may include bespoke modules, mobile apps, or on-premises deployment as agreed in writing.

Features may change; trial features are provided as available.

2. Onboarding by Scholant OS administrators or partners
3. You represent authority to bind the Institute
4. No unlawful use, spam, or unrelated mass messaging

• Owners and invited staff must accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy when creating or joining an account (version recorded on acceptance)
• Owners are responsible for all activity under their tenant
• Assign roles carefully; revoke access when staff leave
• We strongly recommend optional two-factor authentication (authenticator app) for owner accounts
• Do not share logins across organisations
• Report suspected breach to contact@scholantos.com

1. Comply with applicable law, including the DPDP Act
2. Obtain consent and notices for parent/student data and messaging
3. Keep fee, attendance, and academic records accurate
4. Follow Meta, Razorpay, Google (AI APIs), and other integration terms
5. Review every AI-generated draft for accuracy and appropriateness before sending to parents or saving as official records

Prohibited: hacking, scraping, harassment, unlawful WhatsApp campaigns, reselling without consent, malware, or abuse of other tenants. Report suspected abuse to contact@scholantos.com.

Plans

Starter, Growth, and Enterprise tiers define features and limits. A Custom plan is available by written agreement for larger or specialised needs.

Trial

Time-limited evaluation; may end in read-only or suspended access without activation.

Fees

Fees in INR via offline UPI/bank (with institute slug in payment note) or online gateways when enabled. GST invoices issued when GSTIN is on file.

Non-payment

We may restrict write access or suspend after notice. Paid periods are generally non-refundable unless required by law.

Launch promotional pricing

From time to time we may offer promotional monthly prices (currently Starter ₹999, Growth ₹1,999, Enterprise ₹4,999).Launch prices are promotional, time-limited, and for new institute subscriptions unless otherwise agreed in writing. GST is extra where applicable. Feature availability depends on your plan. We may change or end promotions with reasonable notice; continued use after standard pricing applies constitutes acceptance of updated fees.

Parent fee payments

When Razorpay or similar gateways are enabled, parent online payments are processed by the payment provider under their terms. Scholant OS facilitates the integration; fee disputes between parents and the Institute remain primarily between them.

• You own Customer Data; you grant us a licence to host it for the Service
• Owners may download a JSON export of institute data from Settings for backup or migration, subject to plan and role
• We own the Platform software and branding
• We may use anonymised aggregate statistics to improve the product

WhatsApp (Meta), Razorpay, Google (Enterprise AI APIs), and cloud providers operate under their own terms. We are not liable for their outages, policy changes, or model behaviour. See the subprocessor list in our Privacy Policy.

We target high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Support via contact@scholantos.com during reasonable business hours.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not provide legal, tax, or regulatory advice. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete; Institutes remain solely responsible for reviewing outputs and for compliance with boards and parent communications.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability in any 12-month period is limited to fees paid in that period or INR 10,000, whichever is greater, except where law does not allow exclusion (fraud, wilful misconduct).

The Institute indemnifies Scholant OS against claims arising from your data, breach of Terms, misuse of integrations, or disputes with parents/staff—except due to our uncured material breach.

You may stop using the Service. We may suspend for non-payment, breach, or legal requirement. After termination, data is handled per the Privacy Policy.

• No assignment by you without consent
• Severability; no waiver by delay
